Qualifications
Job Summary:
The Quality Manager is responsible for leading and implementing quality management and patient safety initiatives across the organization. This role ensures compliance with UAE regulatory requirements (DHA / DOH / MOH) and international accreditation standards (JCI, ISO), while driving continuous quality improvement, enhancing patient outcomes, and strengthening clinical governance.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Management & Compliance
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations and accreditation standards (DHA / DOH / MOH, JCI, ISO, etc.).
- Lead accreditation preparation, surveys, and regulatory inspections.
- Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality and patient safety.
Patient Safety & Risk Management
- Promote a culture of patient safety across all departments.
- Oversee incident reporting systems, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and corrective actions.
- Monitor adverse events, near misses, and clinical risks.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
Quality Improvement Initiatives
- Lead Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) projects.
- Analyze clinical and operational data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Develop, implement, and review policies and procedures aligned with best practices.
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with established standards.
Training & Development
- Conduct training programs on quality standards, compliance, and patient safety.
- Support departments in achieving quality and accreditation goals.
- Promote awareness of continuous improvement practices across the organization.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate documentation of audits, compliance records, and quality initiatives.
- Prepare reports for senior management and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure proper document control and regulatory documentation standards.
Leadership & Coordination
- Lead multidisciplinary quality committees and meetings.
- Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and operational teams.
- Act as the main liaison with regulatory bodies and accreditation organizations.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related field.
- Master’s Degree preferred (MBA, Healthcare Management, or Quality Management).
Nationality Requirement:
- This position is open to UAE Nationals only, in line with Emiratization initiatives.
- A valid Family Book (Khulasat Al Qaid) is required as proof of nationality.
Certifications (Preferred):
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)
- Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt / Black Belt)
- ISO / JCI Internal or Lead Auditor
Experience:
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in healthcare quality management.
- Experience within hospitals or large healthcare organizations is required.
- Proven experience in accreditation processes (JCI, ISO, or equivalent).
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of UAE healthcare regulations and international standards
- Expertise in quality assurance, auditing, and patient safety
- Data analysis and performance improvement skills
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management
